What you get

The free version puts captions on clips up to 60 seconds and saves them with a small smaverk.com mark in the corner. The paid version, $19 once, removes the mark on the devices where you enter your key (up to three). Longer clips are part of the full version, which is being finished; the date on the main page is our honest estimate.

Who sells it

You buy through Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, adds the right tax for your country, sends the receipt, and is the seller on your statement. Polar's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Småverk makes the product and gives support.

Refunds

Any time in the first 14 days, no questions asked. Write to [email protected] with the email you paid with, and we refund the full amount through Polar. After a refund the key stops working.

What we promise, and what we do not

Captions come from a speech model that runs on your device. They can be wrong, especially with noise, accents, or languages other than English. Check them before you post.
The page works in current versions of Safari, Chrome and Edge. Old browsers or very old phones may be slow or fail.
We may improve or change the product. We will not take away what you paid for.
You are responsible for the clips you caption and where you post them.

Your key

One key per purchase, valid on up to three devices. Do not publish it. If it leaks, write to us and we replace it.
